Project Description
The www.larasig.com website provides training programs for health professional students (including medical, nursing, and other allied health professionals). The training programs offer courses on various topics including genetics, tobacco cessation, opioid and alcohol addiction as well as safe opioid prescribing for pain. We have acquired a visual redesign of the homepage and are looking for someone familiar with Drupal theming to implement the new design. The existing theme on www.larasig.com is a custom Zen sub-theme. The implementation would most likely require the addition of new theme regions, creating a custom tpl.php for the front page, slicing a PSD and creating CSS for the new design.
The www.larasig.com is a Drupal 6 website. Clinical Tools will provide a test environment where the new home page can be deployed and tested. Image files of both the overall layout and any photo elements that need to be included will be supplied to the designer.
Objectives
Implement an updated home page design for www.larasig.com
Template Redesign. Clinical Tools uses a custom Zen sub-theme for its sites. We require a separate template for the front page of the site to include the various block areas highlighted in the new layout. This template would only be applicable to the front page and needs to be triggered for this event.
Design Implementation. Clinical Tools will supply an PSD file of the overall design, as well as the individual visual components included in the design (block images, slideshow images, etc). Using the new front page template, CSS should be applied to these areas to match the design supplied.
Deliverables
Consultant shall deliver a front page template to be triggered when users access the front page of LaraSig.com
